However, we can provide some average statistics that will help you understand this topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What affects hair growth?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To determine whether minoxidil will be effective in your specific case and how long it will take to achieve the results you\u2019re hoping for, you need to identify the key factors that influence normal hair growth:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>heredity<\/strong> \u2013 perhaps the most important characteristic. For example: people from the Caucasus, Arabs, Jews, and some other ethnic groups naturally have thick hair, and it\u2019s normal for boys aged 15\u201316 to start growing a beard actively. In some ways, this point is similar to the first one, but in this case, you can partially influence the levels of certain hormones;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>presence or absence of diseases<\/strong> \u2013 especially those related to the thyroid gland;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>medication intake<\/strong> \u2013 including hormone therapy, chemotherapy, and long-term use of strong antibiotics;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>lifestyle<\/strong> \u2013 an important factor that is sometimes simply overlooked. A healthy diet, exercise and avoiding harmful habits \u2013 all of these have an impact on the condition of your hair, if not directly, then indirectly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, this list is not exhaustive, but these are the most important factors that cannot be ignored when it comes to growing a healthy head of hair. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How long should a course of minoxidil last?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we mentioned at the beginning, there are no exact time frames due to the unique characteristics of each individual\u2019s body. However, there are recommended time frames that can serve as a starting point. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Minoxidil from some world-renowned brands is sold only in boxes of 6 bottles. It\u2019s the resellers who buy these boxes who then sell the product individually. And that makes sense, since not everyone has the means or the desire to buy such a large quantity at once. This is especially true given the realities in Ukraine, where most people are focused on saving money so they can afford food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, 6 bottles, or 6 months of use, is the recommended minimum duration. Such a long period of use ensures that results will be achieved and will last after <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/minoxon.com\/articles\/cancellation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cancellation of the product<\/a><\/strong>. However, this timeframe is only a guideline. The duration of the treatment should be determined on an individual basis, because for some people, even a year or more may not be enough to achieve the desired results, while others use minoxidil for 2\u20133 months and already have a magnificent beard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another important factor is where exactly minoxidil is applied. In theory, it doesn\u2019t matter where you regrow hair (of course, we\u2019re talking about the parts of the body where it can grow naturally), but in practice, the higher the density of hair follicles, the better the results. Accordingly, on the scalp (in the absence of androgenetic alopecia), the duration of treatment is generally shorter than on the beard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s important to understand that quality doesn\u2019t happen overnight. We want it all at once: to invest as little time as possible and get the maximum results. But that\u2019s not how it works. This principle applies to minoxidil as well.
